		+	Shakespeare’s shortest tragedy, Macbeth is a story of ambition, arrogance, murder, and madness. After a great military victory against a rebel army, Scottish general Macbeth encounters three witches who prophesize that he will be crowned King of Scotland. Swiftly descending in to madness and paranoia, Macbeth resorts to murderous, tyrannical acts to ensure his hold on the crown. Wracked by guilt, the bloodbath continues as Macbeth encounters ghosts, demons, and spirits before he is finally confronted in battle with Macduff, a Scottish nobleman who opposes Macbeth’s ascension to the throne. Joined by Malcolm, son of the murdered king, Macduff takes Macbeth’s head, and the throne is awarded to Malcolm.

Hey all! A couple of really exciting things from this week's Senate:

'''Diversity Discussions'''
Conversations are still flowing about the issues of diversity that we face at Northwestern. This past week, I've met with members of NU4Diversity Now and started engaging in conversations about how StuCo can bring the voice of the theatre community to this discussion. In the coming weeks, the Student Groups Caucus (of which StuCo is a member) is looking to organize a discussion about the questions involved, and I'd love to add your voices to the conversation. If you have any ideas of further interest in becoming engaged, hit me up!

'''Funding Meeting'''
Wednesday, May 9 will be the Senate's annual funding discussion. If you're board or group didn't receive the funding you feel you deserve, you are welcome to come to Senate and refute the decision. Senate is held on Wednesday nights at 7, and just let me know if your group is interested in being represented there.
